ABC Lite! – E
Your baby should end the feed himself by coming off the breast
You shouldn’t try to rush him. Look out for a quiver-like suck just before he finishes which means he’s getting the last drops of fat (want to know more? See Hints and Tips – the Magic of Milk in EarlyBabyDays ABC Pro!)
- When you’ve finished feeding, your breasts should feel softer and less full than before the feed
- Your nipple should look as it did before the feed and NOT flattened, squashed or sore
- Your baby should be calm and seem satisfied.
