Nicky Holland is the author of this material:-

  • I've spent over four years of my life breastfeeding my own four children, each until they were one year old.
  • I'm a Registered General Nurse and have a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Wales College of Medicine.
  • I'm a qualified neonatal nurse and have many years of experience nursing on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit looking after babies and teaching new mothers to breastfeed.
  • I've hand painted the illustrations included in this material!
  • I support the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (UNICEF)

Gone were the days of struggling to latch on. With Nicky's help, breast feeding became second nature and I was able to    breast feed both my daughters for 15 months. I never would've believed I could do that!
